Rufus is a program that helps you format and create bootable USB drives like flash drives, thumb drives, etc.
This can be particularly useful in the following cases:
you must create a USB installation media from a bootable ISO (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
you need to work on a system that does not have an operating system installed
you need to boot the BIOS or other firmware from DOS
you want to run a low-level utility
