Everything else is terrible
(2024). The good thing is that the animation is good and well-made. The plot is incredibly stupid and predictable at every turn.
The movie is a waste of time, it doesn’t come close to the original and just rides on its name
It lacks any coherence or depth, the old man acts like a five-year-old, the writers lack the essential minimum understanding of medieval warfare to make the audience take the battles even a little seriously. The protagonist is Mary Sue to the extreme, she is the smartest, the fastest, the bravest and the strongest, she always has the best solution to any tactical or political problem. Well, actually her ideas are naive and shallow, but everyone else on the set is so incredibly stupid that hers seem to pass.
