A grieving therapist begins to tell his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making big changes in people’s lives – including his own.. The cast of “Downsizing” share their best defining moments in season 1 and find out who has the best Harrison Ford impression.. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to play the role on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type,” and auditioned for people who looked like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. Harrison Ford plays Dr
Two episodes out now, this show has a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and sometimes even strangely… touching in ways that most shows aren’t, it’s reminiscent of Community in a way that’s unique to this show. I’m not sure if this is an accurate depiction of how a therapist deals with his issues, but it certainly gives Jason Segel room to make it his own.
Rhodes, Jason’s boss and mentor of sorts
I wasn’t sure how his character would work in this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial nature certainly plays into the person Ford encounters quite well considering the terrifying elements of his character Han Solo in Star Wars, it just fits right in with this show. Somewhat too connected, Sean (Luke Tennie) plays a bit of Jimmy’s (Segel) son as he deals with his own family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)… What I see here seems so vivid and the possibilities are perhaps (?) endless as I see Jimmy handling these things.
And the music in this show is so good
Btw, the opening theme of this series is so good, I didn’t even skip it when I watched the second episode… Overall, this turned out to be a wonderful show and I hope it gets better from here on out.
