In the timeless city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendia family cope with love, oblivion and the inevitability of their past and destiny. It is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project to date, involving Colombian groups and local residents. The funny thing is that I don’t remember the book like that at all.
in a very poetic way
Of course it was scary, but on the other hand, the author brings up ancient curses, etc. Or tragic love, human nature. All this comes from a master of the genre.
It has already made me want to reread the novel!
I was simply overwhelmed by everything, not in the first episode, then I was fascinated and I hope you let the alchemy/magic happen like I did. Let the cloak of revenge envelop you in its fantastic story. It all comes down to history and memory and how unreliable and entangled they are and what we make of it.
Sad, but beautiful
Just like “Game of Thrones” fever. The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation. This is not a Dickens and Christmas fairy tale for children, but a story for adults.
