This show is ridiculously unrealistic, but I don’t even care

It’s obviously not supposed to be the most serious show ever, so I’m fine with it being completely over the top. The main actors are very easy on the eyes and are doing a pretty decent job with their acting (nothing remarkable of course). The actors are way too old for the roles they play, until Sarah said she was only 16 I wasn’t really sure how old she was supposed to be.

But whatever, it’s nothing new

be. Casting age-appropriate actors is really hard, so I can’t drop any points for that really. I’m not completely done yet, but so far it’s fun, fast paced, enjoyable.

It got much better with every episode and honestly in the end it was a high quality production and is a very good setup for a potential second season. . What impressed me the most is how well the dialogue was written, it was really believable.

When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and wanted to audition people similar to Ford. That’s partly because I thought there was something grounded in reality based on a therapist who needs therapy and wants to get through to his patients, unexpectedly overcoming his own issues.I also respect the way it’s presented – he’s not doing anything other therapists should be doing, and that’s very clear.It doesn’t deal with the silly situations of other shows like Loot, but it’s still early in the series and I’ll keep watching it.The show isn’t for everyone.
