Other than Eggold they all felt amateurish

Had high hopes, thought it would be a smart Reacher or something like that. Being that I was a fan of Freeman's iteration and even the Perry one, this was a huge miss.

Never got the feeling that Cross was even close to a psychology PHD, easily triggered, rash and immature

Hodge has the range of 2 out of 10,either he's pissed off or pissed off while thinking hard. The ending doesn't make sense, like they could pick and choose whether the bad guy will be charged with one or 11 murders, even though willing to confess, just to make him lose at the whatever the damn game is.

Sorely miscast, overacted and every twist visible from a mile away

Hard pass.PS Just remembered the soundtrack that immediately pulls you out of anything you barely started to feel. Horrible..

Stop! Shrill! Daddy AF was written and performed by Catherine Slater (aka Slayyter). Anora is the initial masterpiece of Sean Baker’s career and offers very rich and thoughtful class commentary that continues to vilify sex workers and ruin other people’s lives for a good while without thinking about the consequences for them.

There’s strong support

It’s great when it works like Pretty Woman and only gets better when it shifts gears into uncut gem territory with a taut second half. Her stellar performance builds on that, proving she’s fit for more leading roles. She’s so confident and endlessly likable while refusing to back down. It makes everything incredibly invested, because you want her to get the fairytale ending she’s promised, and each time you cling to a little bit of hope, even when reality sets in.

The characters, too

Mark Eydelshteyn makes Ivan look good despite his obvious flaws before sadly revealing him to be a spoiled, cowardly brat. Yura Borisov, Vache Tovmasyan, and Karren Karagulian are the likable trio who spend most of their screen time dealing with a dangerous job that quickly spirals into a spectacular comedy of errors. So you feel really bad for them. Sean Baker’s The direction is impressive, the tone catches the air, allowing it to make the big shift with grace and a surprising opening that sets the scene beautifully.

As it runs 139 minutes, its editing stands out by not feeling long

That’s a good thing, as the home invasion sequence goes on for a while and continues to escalate, and it certainly helps in the city-wide search for Ivan in the middle section.

The character Sawyer was originally intended to be an older, smooth, suit-wearing city crook from Buffalo, New York.

However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line during an audition and then kicked a chair and swore loudly in frustration, the writers liked the side of Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a darker southern drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even legal to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases.

It feels like a hit

This is a really good show with really good writers. There are many subplots that keep you interested and keep you waiting until next week for more answers to the many ever-growing mysteries surrounding the island where a group of plane crash survivors crash. I also like how the writers delve into each of the main characters’ stories and make them more interesting to the viewer.

It’s great to see something on TV that isn’t about CSIs, cops, lawyers, or doctors!

There are a lot of mysterious things happening on the island, and there is a lot of drama between the characters in the series.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. Harrison Ford plays Dr

Two episodes out now, this show has a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and sometimes even strangely… touching in ways that most shows aren’t, it’s reminiscent of Community in a way that’s unique to this show. I’m not sure if this is an accurate depiction of how a therapist deals with his issues, but it certainly gives Jason Segel room to make it his own.

Rhodes, Jason’s boss and mentor of sorts

I wasn’t sure how his character would work in this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial nature certainly plays into the person Ford encounters quite well considering the terrifying elements of his character Han Solo in Star Wars, it just fits right in with this show. Somewhat too connected, Sean (Luke Tennie) plays a bit of Jimmy’s (Segel) son as he deals with his own family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)… What I see here seems so vivid and the possibilities are perhaps (?) endless as I see Jimmy handling these things.

And the music in this show is so good

Btw, the opening theme of this series is so good, I didn’t even skip it when I watched the second episode… Overall, this turned out to be a wonderful show and I hope it gets better from here on out.
